His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman were today welcomed to Education City by Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani
His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman were today welcomed to Education City by Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation.
During the visit, His Majesty the Sultan and his accompanying delegation learned about the work and mission of Qatar Foundation (QF), and – viewing the campus from the open-air viewing platform at the 2015 building (QF Headquarters) – were given an overview of the organization’s education, science and research, and community development entities, programs, and focus.
His Highness the Amir and His Majesty the Sultan also visited Qatar National Library, which is housed at Education City, during the visit.
