Huawei supports quality and excellence in the kingdom

Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia Company reiterated its commitment to quality and excellence in the Saudi market, during its participation at the third edition of Quality & Excellence Best Practice Forum, an event organized by the General Secretariat of King Abdulaziz Quality Award, which is aimed at promoting best practice amongst Saudi entities and enterprises.

Representatives from various local and regional government entities, excellence bodies and businesses from all sectors took part in the two-day event. In addition, spokespeople from both local and international winners of national excellence awards, who shared their experiences with the audience.

On the second day of the event, John Wu, Deputy Director of Corporate Quality, Huawei, showcased the company’s philosophy regarding achieving excellence and superior quality, which places clients at the center of all its operations. Wu also stressed the importance of setting key performance indicators (KPIs) at all levels of the organization to ensure customer satisfaction while ensuring that the KPIs are met.

“Customer-centricity, quality assurance and innovation are the foundation of success for any enterprise. Continuous monitoring of the quality of products, services and solutions is key to providing the best customer experience,” said Wu. “Customer satisfaction is a major driver for all departments to achieve goals and resolve issues. For example, over 10,000 customers of Huawei’s Carrier Network and Enterprise Business Groups are surveyed every year to ensure that the products and solutions are up to their standard.” 

Huawei is a multiple recipient of the “China Quality Award’, the highest level government honor that can be given to an organization and is awarded by the government every two years.  The China Quality award was given to organizations that made an outstanding contribution towards establishing a great nation for quality and played a leading role model, and to individuals who made an outstanding contribution towards increasing the level of quality in Chinese industry and regions.
