The new StarView service will allow Mercedes-Benz Oman to provide customized visual vehicle health-checks for customers, providing real-time, remote assistance from a team who know the vehicle best.

The soon-to-launch service will open up a variety of customised digital video solutions from Mercedes-Benz Oman, allowing the sales team to provide personalised video content demonstrating the full range of vehicles or a specific model. Features of a vehicle can be highlighted and fully explained to customers through videos shared directly to their mobile devices. From a Service perspective, customers can be kept well informed on the status of their vehicle – be it progress on maintenance checks or status of vehicle repairs. As the premium car manufacturer aims to use digitialisation as a means to ensure trust and transparency are maintained with all clients, the StarView solution provides remote, visual access to their vehicle and allows the opportunity for specific, personalised video requests.
This Mercedes-Benz brand’s announcement comes following a variety of digital initiatives that have revamped the customer experience, particularly when it comes to sales and aftersales. An innovative new showroom launched late 2019 overhauled the sales experience, digitizing much of the traditional showroom facilities, providing a more interactive experience for customers and bringing the future of car sales into the here and now.
