Mouawad pioneers jewellery certification online

Mouawad announced today the launch of a new online customer service feature, the Mouawad Certificate of Authenticity (COA). This online service, which can be accessed anytime by anyone who owns an item of Mouawad jewellery with a COA, attests to the origin and full details of every piece of jewellery. 

“We wanted to provide our customers around the world with this new and innovative service, so they can verify the authenticity of their Mouawad pieces wherever they are, whenever they choose,” commented Fred Mouawad, Guardian of the Mouawad Diamond Division. “The Mouawad Certificate of Authenticity online is another important milestone in the history of our family business, which, since 1890, has built its reputation on quality, excellence and exceptional service.” 

The new service is available online at http://coa.mouawad.com for select products. Customers simply enter the item’s reference number – available on their receipt or, in some cases, on the piece itself.  Once accessed through the online platform, the COA immediately appears on screen  Certification details are accompanied by a picture and description of the item, details of the collection the piece comes from, as well as authentication of the gemstones and precious materials used (e.g. type of stone, metals and carat weights).
