New vision wins first and third place in 2016 LG Middle East and Africa Service Skill Olympiad

New Vision – the authorized distributor of LG Electronics’ household appliances, home entertainment devices, ACs and mobile phones in Jordan – achieved outstanding results during the LG Middle East and Africa Service Skill Olympiad 2016, which took place in Dubai over the course of two days. Competing against their fellow maintenance technicians, New Vision’s Alaa Abu Jbara took first place in the electrical appliances category, while Hussam Abu Aridah received third place in the category of room air conditioning (RAC), air conditioning and heating devices.

The Olympiad, held on an annual basis, featured the participation of 51 technicians from 21 countries across the Middle East and Africa. Throughout the two-day event, participants underwent theoretical, soft skill, and practical tests. Upon the Olympiad’s conclusion, trophies, medals and certificates were distributed to the winners, with 10 maintenance technicians chosen to receive a number of prizes in recognition of their efforts.

New Vision showcases LG Electronics’ products at nine showrooms located in As-Salam Markets, Jordan Commercial Center, Tareq, Al Hashimi Al-Shamali, Tabarbour, at Al Waha Circle, and in Mecca Street, as well as in Irbid and Karak, all of which were designed in accordance with the highest international technical standards.
