Nissan Patrol wins prestigious 2026 iF Design Award

Nissan is proud to announce that the Nissan Patrol has received the internationally acclaimed 2026 iF Design Award. The recognition follows a comprehensive evaluation across five key criteria: idea, form, function, differentiation, and sustainability.

Established in 1954, the iF Design Award is sponsored by the iF International Forum Design GmbH (iF International Forum Design Inc.) in Hannover, Germany. Recognized as one of the world's most prestigious design awards, this year 129 design experts of 21 nationalities judged more than 10,000 works – including products and projects – from 68 countries.

The all-new Patrol represents the seventh generation of Nissan’s flagship SUV, building on more than 70 years of heritage, capability, and trust. It blends advanced technology with Japanese craftsmanship, defined by precision, quality, and attention to detail. Signature design elements, including the distinctive Double C lighting motif mirrored in the front headlamps and rear light bar, and the sculpted side vents, reinforce its bold character. The exterior projects an unbreakable presence and bold dignity, while the intuitive cockpit and spacious eight-seat interior create a refined sanctuary designed for comfort across every journey.

In the Middle East, the Patrol line-up spans V6 and V6T engine variants, including Titanium and Platinum grades, and is further distinguished by the region’s first Patrol PRO-4X and the race-inspired Patrol NISMO.

The iconic Patrol embodies premium presence and refined strength, with its widened V-motion grille, striking lighting signature, available 22-inch alloy wheels, and a silhouette that balances prestige with rugged capability.

The Patrol PRO-4X introduces a more purposeful and adventure-ready aesthetic. Exclusive Lava Red accents, a heritage-inspired three-slot grille, darkened exterior elements, all-terrain tires, and functional skid plates amplify its off-road character while maintaining the Patrol’s unmistakable road presence.

At the pinnacle of performance-inspired design, the Patrol NISMO delivers a bold, motorsport-infused interpretation. Featuring aerodynamic enhancements, a reimagined V-motion grille with honeycomb mesh, layered rear diffusers, extended rear spoiler, and signature NISMO red detailing, it reflects precision engineering shaped by regional customer insights.

Together, the Patrol, Patrol PRO-4X, and Patrol NISMO demonstrate how a single design language can evolve to express a premium presence, adventure, and performance, while retaining the core DNA that has defined the Patrol for generations.
