RJ helps boost environmental sustainability by planting 500 trees in the Jiza area

Royal Jordanian organized a tree-planting campaign, in cooperation with the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, which is carrying out its Green Caravan program.
RJ Vice Chairman/CEO Samer Majali, who participated in this initiative with a large group of RJ employees, said that this step is in line with RJ's sustainability strategy, implemented to meet the challenges posed by climate change, reduce carbon emissions and support national efforts to preserve the environment.
He added that as it steps into its 60th decade of existence, RJ sees social responsibility as an essential part of its national mission and the role it plays in serving the local community; as such, this initiative is bound to provide a sustainable source of income for farmers in that region.
