Volkswagen Middle East Launches the All-New Jetta – Back for Better
Volkswagen Middle East has officially launched the all-new Jetta, marking the long-awaited return of one of its most beloved sedans to the region. With more than 14 million units sold globally since its debut in 1979, the Jetta makes its comeback redefined — now larger, smarter, and more dynamic than ever before.
The all-new Jetta blends bold design with everyday practicality, offering a refreshed identity that perfectly fits modern Middle Eastern lifestyles. Measuring 4.81 metres in length with a 2.73-metre wheelbase — the longest in its class — it is the largest Jetta ever built, offering generous interior space and class-leading rear legroom. Its redesigned front end features a floating grille with an integrated LED strip, flanked by IQ.Light LED Matrix Headlights and illuminated VW logos at both front and rear. Sleek flush door handles, sharp body lines, and available 17- or 18-inch alloy wheels complete its confident, contemporary stance.
Inside, the Jetta combines refinement and functionality, offering a cabin that feels a class above. Soft-touch materials, premium leatherette seating, and 30-colour ambient lighting create a welcoming environment, while a 509-litre trunk and clever storage options ensure everyday practicality. A panoramic sunroof, dual-zone Climatronic AC, keyless entry, remote engine start, and hands-free trunk release further enhance convenience.
Technology sits at the heart of the new Jetta, featuring a 12.9- or 15-inch infotainment system integrated with App-Connect, a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, and wireless smartphone charging. The system provides seamless connectivity, supported by front and rear USB ports and a six-speaker Bluetooth audio setup for premium in-cabin entertainment.
Powered by Volkswagen’s efficient 1.5L TSI engine producing 158 hp and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DSG transmission, the Jetta delivers a smooth, yet responsive drive designed for both city cruising and open-road comfort. Intelligent driver-assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane assist, and park distance control with front and rear sensors, enhance safety and confidence on every journey.
“The all-new Jetta is a car that truly connects with the everyday driver — practical, confident, and full of character,” said Matthias Ziegler, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East. “It brings back the familiar Jetta spirit, now elevated with more space, technology, and progressive design than ever before.”
Available in three trims — Trendline, Comfortline, and Highline — and priced from $24,900 to $29,500, the Jetta delivers remarkable value, blending German engineering with everyday versatility. The all-new Jetta is now available across Volkswagen dealerships in the Middle East, where customers can experience it firsthand and book their test drives.
Volkswagen is pleased to share the outstanding response following the reveal of the new Jetta and Passat. In just four weeks, we have received over 1,500 customer bookings across its markets — a strong reflection of the growing demand for Volkswagen’s latest sedan models.
The digital launch also achieved remarkable results, with videos across social media platforms surpassing one million views. This impressive engagement highlights the continued popularity of the Jetta and Passat and reinforces the strength of Volkswagen’s sedan line-up in the region.
While a positive reception was expected, the speed and scale of the response have gone beyond all expectations. We extend our sincere appreciation to customers for their trust and enthusiasm and looks forward to seeing more of these models on roads across the Middle East soon.
Background Information
Volkswagen Middle East
Volkswagen’s relationship with the Middle East dates back to when the first Beetle was sold here many years ago. Since then, the brand has witnessed an exponential expansion. In 2005 Volkswagen, Europe’s largest car manufacturer, confirmed its commitment to its customers and partners in the region with the opening of the Volkswagen Middle East Regional Office based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This initiative has allowed the brand to introduce a wider variety of Volkswagen models to the region and strengthen their dedication to their patrons.
