"Investor confidence in Dubai's freehold real estate market could be shaken if proper regulations are not put in place to protect real estate purchasers from unscrupulous agents," the Gulf News has quoted industry officials as saying.
It added that deals are caried out in the secondary market with some agents failing to notify the master developer, resulting in confusion among new buyers.
