The Qatari government should intervene to check growing rents to help ensure social stability, a prominent lawyer said Saturday. According to the Peninsula newspaper, Mohsin Thiyab Al Suwaidi said that a law is already existed in Qatar to limit rent hikes but it only needed to be strictly enforced.
