The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs706.48 millions , of which sales exceeded Dhs499 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs207.95 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 41 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Trade Center First that was sold for Dhs170 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Mararr acquired for the sum of Dhs41.5541 million and another in Al Mamzer for Dhs36 million
The Mirdif area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 8 transactions. Al Mezhar First followed it with 4 sales.
During the period, Trade Center First recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs170 million, followed by the Al Mamzer area, Dhs68.9 million, and Al Raffa area, Dhs49 million.
The biggest area sold was the 199637 sq ft in the Muhaisanah First area, which went for Dhs30 million. A 159978 sq ft plot in the AL-Aweer Area was acquired for Dhs5.1 million, while 136000 sq ft of Al Khawaneej First was disposed of for Dhs15.2 million.
During the period under review 55 mortgages worth Dhs133.6 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs60.1 million for an area at Trade Center First. There was another for Dhs21.88 million on an area in Muhaisanah First
