Rotana, the leading hotel management company in the Middle East and North Africa, announced yesterday the opening of its third hotel in Lebanon, Raouché Arjaan by Rotana. The event was held under the Patronage of Elie Marouni, the Minister of Tourism, who was represented at the event by Ms. Nada Sardouk, the General Director of the Ministry of Tourism.
During the celebration, Ms. Nada Sardouk expressed her admiration for Rotana’s leading position in the hotel management industry in the Middle East and North Africa and emphasized the importance of Rotana properties’ contribution to the boost in tourism and economic welfare in Lebanon, specifically, Beirut city.
Mr. Joseph Coubat, Area Vice President for Rotana Lebanon, Qatar, Bahrain & Kuwait, expressed confidence and excitement in the new opening saying that “We are very proud to be managing this landmark property which is our third hotel in Lebanon, and first to open under our newly launched brand Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana. Raouché Arjaan by Rotana is a first-class property, which has been developed with both long-term guests and families in mind. The team of Raouché Arjaan by Rotana, headed by the General Manager Pierre Ghorayeb, has been working hand in hand to ensure all areas of the opening are perfected, for the operation of this scenic property.”
In Arabic, the word ‘Arjaan’ talks of a place which provides a memorable experience, like the aroma of a scented bloom, an inspirational place offering that delicate balance of personal and professional service. The hotel, which targets both, the leisure and business sector, is comprised of 176 studios and suites with state-of-the-art amenities and recreational facilities, including a rooftop swimming pool and a Bodylines Health and Fitness centre.
Pierre Ghorayeb, General Manager of the property is confident the hotel will be well received in Beirut. “Raouché Arjaan by Rotana’s location in the heart of the city will allow guests to enjoy gorgeous sea views coupled with the energetic atmosphere of one of Beirut’s liveliest quarters – Raouché Boulevard – all the time secure in the knowledge of being in the hands of one of the region’s most respected hospitality groups. We hope that Raouché Arjaan by Rotana will blur the line between hotel apartment and home for our guests through the level of comfort and individual attention offered.”
Business travellers looking for a venue to host conferences and seminars can utilise the hotel’s two meeting rooms, with a capacity to accommodate 150 people. Long-staying guests and families in particular will appreciate the spacious, tastefully-appointed rooms equipped with all modern conveniences.
The Raouché Arjaan by Rotana will showcase authentic Lebanese cuisine with its F&B offering which includes the Bella Vita Café – a relaxed terrace café overlooking the bustling Raouché Boulevard, in addition to the Murjan café & Terrace– an all-day dining venue offering a delightful fusion of continental and traditional fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
“Raouché Arjaan by Rotana’s spacious design and warm décor will appeal to business and leisure travelers alike from the local and international markets. At Rotana, we pride ourselves on our levels of service and quality and we hope the opening of the Raouché Arjaan by Rotana will only build on the group’s already strong reputation in the region”, concluded Coubat.
