Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) is participating in IranPlast 2004 to maintain its presence in this major export market.
Fahad Al-Dubayan, General Manager Polypropylene Marketing and Polyolefins Local Sales said: “Polypropylene demand in Iran been accelerating since 1997, and our forecasts suggest that over the next two years Iranian demand is likely to continue to rise. SABIC is now the world’s 4th largest producer of polyolefins – 3rd in polyethylenes and 4th in polypropylene - and we are looking to increase our production capacity for these products to meet increasing global demand.
“Participating in IranPlast gives us a chance to introduce SABIC to potential new customers. For our existing customers, it provides an opportunity for us to thank them for their invaluable support and to foster stronger partnerships and friendships.”
The exhibition runs from December 13 to 17, 2004 at the International Exhibition Ground in Tehran.
