The Six Continents Hotels company recently announced a range of winter packages at its seven Egyptian line-up of Inter-Continental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels and resorts. Recently introduced special fares on Egypt Air in-bound flights are now available through travel agents, reported a company press release.

The hotel packages are available on a half-board (Bed & Breakfast) basis at resorts on the Red Sea to the banks of the Nile River. At the Crowne Plaza Resort Sharm El Sheikh, guests can take advantage of special rates. Since opening in July, the Crowne Plaza has created a Moroccan village-style experience for visitors to Egypt's Red Sea coast. Overlooking El Pacha Bay, it offers a view of the Far Garden coral reef. With 329 deluxe rooms, as well as three and four bedroom chalets, the resort has five pools, a health club, private beach and a wide choice of restaurants.

A private beach and a host of water sport activities are among the attractions at the Holiday Inn Resort Safaga Palace, where guests can also relax while their children are looked after at the Kids Fun Club. Another attractive Red Sea getaway option is the Hurghada Inter-Continental Resort & Casino, where every room has a view of the pool and the Red Sea.

Completing the winter packages are the new Holiday Inn Resort Amphoras Sharm El Sheikh, with its prime beachfront location, and the Holiday Inn Resort Sharm El Sheikh, which has an 18-hole golf course and 520 rooms with balconies.
