Synergy Professional Services (SPS), a regional information and communications technology (ICT) services provider, announced a partnership with Jordan's MasterIT, forming the first Cisco Systems certified training partner center in Jordan. The newly formed training house, MasterIT Synergy, started offering Cisco network certification courses from mid-March 2002.
As outlined in an IDC report on the Networking Skills Shortage in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), most emerging economies will continue to witness growing networking skills shortages both in absolute and relative terms until 2004. In particular, Jordan is predicted to have to deal with a 36 percent skills shortage by 2004.
The program offering starts from the entry level Cisco Certified Network Associate certificates (CCNA) up to the Cisco Advanced Certification Programs
SPS is a Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle and Nortel certification training partner. The company was formed by the merger of two Arab ICT services companies, with operations in Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). SPS supports some of the largest organizations in the Middle East, such as GlaxoSmithKline, Amoco, ABB, MobiNil and Click Vodafone. — (menareport.com)
