The total value of land transactions in Dubai yastarday peaked at Dhs55.93 million, of which sales exceeded Dhs14 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs42.38 million, according to the Land Department.
A total of 5 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the day, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Saffa Second that was sold for Dhs7.5 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Al Barsha Second acquired for the sum of Dhs2.55 million and another in Al Satwa for Dhs1.5 million.
During the period, Al Saffa Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs7.5 million, followed by the Al Barsha Second area, Dhs2.55 million, and Al Satwa area, Dhs1.5 million.
The biggest area sold was the 24000 sq ft in the Al Saffa Second area, which went for Dhs7.5 million. A 15000 sq ft plot in the Al Barsha Second Area was acquired for Dhs2.55 million, while 2500 sq ft of Al Satwa was disposed of for Dhs1.5 million.
During the period under review 3 mortgages worth Dhs42.38 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs25 million for an area at Mankhool. There was another for Dhs16.82 million on an area in Al Barsha First and a further sum of Dhs.56 million registered on an area of land sold in Al Barsha Third.
