The value of land sales in Dubai increased last year to a record Dh14.56 billion to register an almost three-fold jump compared to the previous year's Dh5.319 billion.
According to Khaleej Times, 2005 saw a good start with January sales recording an all-time monthly high of Dh1.65 billion, indicating an year-on-year jump of 83 per cent.
