According to Alahli, the center for Al Ahawar revival started cleaning the water channels of Al Mashab and Alsilal for the purpose of delivering water to Hor Al Himar. On the other side, the general department of implementing irrigation and reclamation projects is supervising the construction works of irrigation networks for 18,000 dunams in Dakouk region, located at the province of Kirkuk.
The cost of such a project, which 32 percent of it was accomplished, is put at 1.600 billion Dinar. Additionally, the department has almost finished the repair of its buildings and storage facilities at a cost of 563 million dinar.
