Credit Suisse has appointed Fady  Eid as Market Leader Levant for Private Banking Middle East & Indian Subcontinent, effective immediately. In this role, he will be responsible for driving growth and profitability in the strategically important Levant markets and will lead client facing activities. In addition to the new role, Fady Eid continues to serve as Chairman and General Manager of the Credit Suisse office in Beirut, Lebanon. 

In February 2011, Credit Suisse was named the best private bank in Lebanon by Euromoney magazine, a leading publication for the global banking and capital markets. Credit Suisse was also recognized for being the best private bank in the Middle East region and globally. The accolades are based on the results of Euromoney’s Private Banking Survey 2011.
