Apparently traditional Jews just can't handle gazing upon Kim Kardashian.

The American star was edited out of a photo taken with Kanye West and Jerusalem's Mayor Nir Barkat on an ultra-Orthodox website, instead replaced by a receipt. In other photos, her figure is blurred.

Nassim Ben Haim, editor of the site Kikar HaShabbat, told AP she was taken out because the woman is a "pornographic symbol" who contradicts ultra-Orthodox values.

It's not uncommon in the religious community to take a woman -- any woman, for that matter -- out of photos for modesty. In January German Chancellor Angela Merkel was removed from a photo printed in an ultra-Orthodox newspaper. (The same newspaper had photoshopped Hillary Clinton out of an image of US leaders watching the Osama Bin Laden raid.)

But not acknowledging her at all? In another article that criticized Barkat for meeting the couple in a non-kosher restaurant, the author referred to Kardashian as "West's wife."
