The World's Largest Floral Mickey Mouse is Unveiled in Dubai

UAE’s Dubai Miracle Garden unveiled the world’s largest Mickey Mouse structure made out of flowers on Sunday, local media reported.


The structure was built to mark the 90th anniversary of the creation of the Walt Disney character.

The floral statue is made of almost 100,000 flowers and plants, and stands at a height of 18 meters while weighing around 35 tons.
The display earned the Guinness World Record for tallest topiary-supported sculpture.

“Mickey Mouse is one of the world’s most iconic and beloved characters, and we are proud to be able to celebrate such a unique touch point at the Dubai Miracle Gardens with UAE residents and visitors, and enable them to connect with Disney and our characters,” Chafic Najia, general manager for the Walt Disney Company Middle East said at the unveiling.

The garden also has two other world records for the world’s largest vertical garden and the largest floral installation.
