ALBAWABA - There are eight celebrities who don't observe Christmas because they are either adherents of a different faith, or do not like Christmas.

1. Natalie Portman
Black Swan actress Natalie Portman was born to a Jewish family in Jerusalem, thus, the actress does not celebrate Christmas.
2. Andrew Garfield
Spiderman star Andrew Garfield is also Jewish, and observes Jewish holidays instead.
3. Drake
Rapper Drake was born to an Ashkenazi Jewish Canadian mother and commemorates Hanukkah and other Jewish occasions.
4. Lady Gaga
In 2019, singer Lady Gaga revealed in a concert that she dislikes the holidays. ''I hate the holidays. I’m alone and miserable."
5. Colin Firth
The 62-year-old Colin Firth said: "I have a profound loathing of Christmas, it’s sad, really. At this time of year, I am careful not to switch on the radio because those novelty jingles make me homicidal and plunge me into the heart of Scrooge territory.''
He added: "I think Christmas turns us all into Scrooge. Everyone is trying to throw happy stuff at you, and that’s when I come over all humbug."
6. Hugh Grant
British actor Hugh Grant said he avoid Christmas celebrations. "The last few years, I have taken dad to a Muslim country to escape it completely. We both hate Christmas," he said.
7. Adam Sandler
Actor Adam Sandler is Jewish and does not celebrate Christmas.
8. Mayim Bialik
Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bialik said: ''I'm not a scrooge, I promise! Even though a lot of Jewish people celebrate xmas, I don't but I still enjoy the winter season with plenty of Chanukah cheer including Chanukah latkes''
