“Bab El Haara” (The Neighborhood Gate) fans are in for a double treat; the highly-popular social drama is returning to our screens, and is bringing Syrian actor Abbas Al Nouri back with it!
Abbas played the popular character “Abu Issam” and has just sealed the deal for a comeback in the series' final sixth and seventh sequels.
But according to Sayidaty.net, Abbas was a tad skeptical about returning to the show. For starters, his character had supposedly been killed off in Season 3, and he felt that his return would be somewhat “meaningless.”
However, it was “Bab El Haara's” fab scriptwriters who presented him with a very well-written script for the final two sequels that impressed him and convinced him to come aboard once again!
The show's writers Suleiman Abdel Aziz and Uthman Hajja are currently finalizing the script, which, sources said, will take a totally different direction from the previous seasons.
Director Azzam Fouq Al Addah has just touched down in Syria from Canada to work his magic on the series, which will also be supervised by director Bassem al Mulla.
