Emirati singer Ahlam is never afraid to speak her mind, but she should have thought twice before expressing her happiness at the decision to release ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak.
Millions of Egyptians cheered when Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was ousted and got thrown into jail in 2012, so it's mesmerizing to us that Ahlam is fond of someone like him!
The outspoken lady is very often under fire for her personal views and personal attacks on fellow singers.
This time, the star tweeted a picture of Mubarak attending a court hearing on Monday 19th August, which immediately received tons of criticism from individuals all over the world.
In response to the negative comments, Ahlam tweeted another picture and wrote: “To those who aren't impressed, you can go and bang your head against the biggest wall there is; that's Burj Khalifa for you. Long live Egypt, long live Mubarak. I love him and that's my personal freedom.”
