Sources have revealed that Lebanese singer Alissa, who has been in Cairo for the past week, has just completed the recording of a new duet with international singer Chab Mami. The rumor of the duet had been circulating for some time, but the singer and her managing office kept refusing to make a public and announcement or reveal any details about it.

According to the London based Elaph, the recording of the duet was done at the ART studios in Cairo and the song is titled “Halili Duniaia” (Make My World Beautiful). It is yet unknown whether the duet will be released as a single or if Alissa will incorporate it in her upcoming album.

Aside from recording the duet, Alissa had met with a number of prominent Egyptian poets and composers to chose songs for her new album. Alissa had as well completed shooting her latest music video for the song “Hubbak Waja”, marking the third from her latest album “Ahla Dunia”. The clip for the song, which has been witnessing enormous popularity, was filmed in a mansion in one of Lebanon’s suburbs, and filming lasted for three days.

Saeed Al Marouq directed the clip, marking his second cooperation with the singer, the first being “Agmal Ihsas”, which he received an award for best director for. Alissa revealed that the clip is currently in production and will not be released for another month. The singer added that another reason for delaying the release of the clip is the recent tragedy Lebanon went through with the assassination of former PM Rafiq Al Hariri.
