What a shock. Everything was set and ready to go for Amr Diab’s first live performance post-release of his new album “Tonight”, but police officials shut it all down because of the country’s current chaos.
The singer wrote on his official Facebook page, "The concert has been postponed until conditions in Egypt stabilize."
The long-awaited concert in Marina, Egypt may be moved to the second day of the Muslim holiday, Eid Al Adha, if concert agent Walid Mansour has anything to do about it.
Walid relentlessly tried to negotiate with security officials to hold the concert but to no avail.
We are sure the songster is none too pleased since this event was set to make him some big bucks, and keep his career rollin’ in a difficult time.
