POPULAR Arab singer Angham performed in Bahrain last night as part of celebrations marking 40 years of DHL Express operations in the Middle East.
The concert, held at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, was attended by DHL Express Middle East and North Africa chief executive Nour Suliman, management members and government officials.
The Egyptian singer, record producer and actress, born in 1972, make her debut in 1987 under the guidance of her father, Mohammad Suleiman. Her albums include Leih Sebtaha (Why Did You Leave Her), Bahibbik Wahashteeny (I Love You, I Miss You), and Kolma N’arrab (Whenever We Come Closer), which sold more than half a million CDs across the Middle East in less than three months and was awarded a platinum certification.
Angham was also named the best-selling female pop artist in Middle East for 2003.
