Egyptian screen writer Fida Al Shandaweeli said that Egyptian singer Angham will resume filming the scenes for her role in the new television drama “Fi Ghamdit Ayn” (With a blink of an eye). Recent rumors about disputes between the director of the drama and Angham are not true, said Fida.
According to Fida, a rumor began spreading over the internet that Angham and the director of the drama had a major dispute that lead the singer to leave the filming location.
According to the London based Elaph, Fida said that filming is going according to schedule and the entire cast and crew are putting in extra hours to have the drama ready to be aired during the coming holy month of Ramadan. Fida revealed that a number of satellite television channels have offered to air the drama, but the production company will make such decisions.
Fida said that 25 percent of the drama’s scenes are now complete, including outdoor scenes in Alexandria.
The drama stars Angham and Dalia Al Buhairi, and is directed by Sameeh Al Naqqash. The story of the drama is about two women who were raised in an orphanage and the obstacles they encounter trying to live a normal life.
