A scene from the series 'Matha Law' (What If) was highly shared on social media.


In the scene, Saudi actress Aseel Omran farewells her lover with a kiss on the forehead, which sparked controversy.

Omran is breaking up with her lover in the controversial scene telling him that she decided to break up with him while in tears. Instead of focusing on the scene's content most of the viewers attention was directed at the way Aseel embraced her lover and the kiss on forehead she gave him before leaving.

Aseel Omran's followers comments on the scene devided between criticism and saying that her reaction seemed logical based on the situation. Some of them though acknowledged that the representation of her character's state did not fit Gulf customs and traditions and considered the way the scene was acted daring.

The series "Matha Law" revolves around the elites in the Gulf and actors in the series include Noor Ghandour, Abdullah Abdul Rida, Khalid Amin, Rowan Mahdi, Laila Abdullah and Gharur Safar and so far the series has had high viewership rates.
