Assala Wearing the Hijab (with Picture)

Syrian singer Assala's daughter, Sham Al Zahabi, posted a picture of her mother wearing the hijab and praying on a carpet captioning it with "God Bless Jerusalem".

Al Zahabi expressed her frustration with Donald Trump's acknowledgement of the whole of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the United States embassy there. Her mother shared her daughter's frustration on social media as she denounced Trump's announcement.
