Syrian actor Ayman Zidan is engaged to marry Nashwa Zayed, daughter of the late Egyptian scriptwriter Muhsin Zayed, according to Al-Rai Al-Am newspaper.
The couple announced their engagement at Zayed’s house in Al-Haram in the Jizah area of Egypt. Only close family members were invited to attend. Zidan divorced his previous wife, Syrian actor Norman Asa’d with whom he has a daughter.
Zidan stars in a Ramadan drama series called “Rajol Al Inqalabat” (The Man Of Revolutions). Zidan created and directed the series, written by Muhammad Al Ja’fory and produced by Sami Al Jinadi.
The series is set in the 1950’s in an isolated Syrian village. The village witnessed three revolutions in Syria, believing that a simple man Abu Hasan, played by Zidan, is somehow responsible. The comedic series also stars André Asaf, Naji Jaber and Hasan Dakak.
