Thrills, chills and spills are on the cards for this year's Formula One weekend at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).

A fun-packed programme of off-track entertainment has been unveiled with performers and musicians from all over the world set to descend on the Sakhir venue from April 17 to April 19.

While the on-track action and big name stars such as Pitbull, DJ Otto Knows and The Vamps will take care of the thrills, a Snow Village marquee promises to provide the chills with an ice rink, ski slope and "snow garden".

A line-up of Arabic concerts from Kuwaiti singer Abdulla Rowaishid, Lebanese recording artists Najwa Karam and Amr Zayan and Iraqi singer-composer Waleed Al Shami are also planned.

The spills, meanwhile, may just come from Freaks, a young Austrian acrobatics squad who will be performing breath-taking gymnastics stunts that got them into the finals of 'Austria's Got Talent' in 2009.

Portuguese musical street performer Bandas ˆs Riscas will also be performing alongside fellow countrymen Be-Dom, a group of young artists who convert jars, cans, bottles and drums into musical instruments.

Elsewhere, hang pan musician Daniel Waples will be entertaining the crowds with his unique sound as Flava, a dance troupe that reached the semi-finals of 'Britain's Got Talent', will be participating in different activities.

Another attraction this year will be the LED drummer band Spark, who enthralled race-goers in Bahrain last year with their high-impact drumming, dynamic choreography and beautiful lighting designs.

Tickets to the Formula One can be purchased at the BIC sales outlets in City Centre Bahrain and Seef Mall, online at bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC hotline on 17450000.
