News about actress Hala Shiha going back to acting after 12 years of being away from the limelight, caused a huge shock for the Arab audience, especially that Hala was fully covered at some point and was wearing "Niqab" following an extremely religious routine.
Shiha even used to post on Facebook lots of religious quotes and verses encouraging her followers to follow a religious path and the Islamic teachings as she sees them.
Last June specifically though she wrote that she would never take off the "Niqab" and would never go back to acting emphasizing that whoever posts pictures from her old on screen roles is committing sin, as she considered that acting was a sin that she does not commit anymore.
No one knows yet how Hala changed her mind overnight. She is welcome to go back to acting, yet this sudden change raises lots of questions. Do you think she would be able to make it again and that her future acting projects would be as successful as the ones she already took part in?
