Lebanese artist Dina Hayek is filming a new video clip for her Khaliji “Gulf Countries” dialect song “La’oob” (Player) and she’ll be working with the Lebanese director Fadi Haddad. The song is written by the poet Musab Al Anzi, composed by Abdullah Al Salim and distributed by Rabe’ Al Sidawi.

According to the London daily Elaph, Dina showed her success in singing the Khaliji tone with a number of songs like: “Al Mitrab’ Hona” (In Control), “Jarab Al Ghirah” (Try Jealousy) and “Ala Ayamak” (Time With You). Dina is still trying to perform in similar style. As for her decision to leaving Rotana, Dina has no regrets doing so.

She adds that the misunderstanding between her and Rotana is the main reason for leaving, yet she has no problem going back once the misunderstanding is gone. She also said that she has great affection for Rotana and good relation with the owner of the company the Saudi prince Al Walid Bin Talal and she is ready to sit down with the management to start new negotiations.

Dina said that she is facing great difficulties for not having a production company. As for her relation with the Lebanese satellite channel “LBC”, Dina said, “We are not enemies and at the same time we are not friends.”

Dina has Tunisia to thank for most of her fame and her success, because she believes that through appearing on the famous Tunisian musical festival “Carthage”, she was able to enter the hearts of many fans in Tunisian and the rest of the Arab world. She also revealed that she will have a great performance on the next Carthage Festival, yet she wants to keep secret about the details.

As for the rumor about singing a duet with the famous Lebanese artist Wael Kfoury, Dina said the rumor is not true, yet there might be a future project with the Lebanese musician Marwan Khoury.
