ALBAWABA - With version 1.1 nearly here, Kuro Games took to their official website and showcased a sneak peek into what fans should expect of the first big update for Wuthering Waves from new characters and echoes to a new explorable area.
Moreover, Kuro Games listened to gamers and implemented a new farming system for echoes which can be huge for many since it might cut the time to farm echoes in half! Today, we've got you covered with everything important coming to Wuthering Waves in version 1.1.
Everything coming to Wuthering Waves version 1.1
1) New Area (Mt. Firmament)
Players who explored all the areas in Huanglong will be delighted to hear that Wuthering Waves is getting a new area called Mt. Firmament which seems to be set in the snowy mountains. Hopefully, we won't be looking at another Dragonspine (Genshin Impact) since exploring it was a chore due to the weather system.
2) Two new 5-star characters, Companion quests, and Main story continuation
Due to leaks, we already know the 5-star characters coming in 1.1 which are Jinhsi and Changli. Find details about both characters below:
- Jinhsi will be a 5-star resonator with a Spectro attribute and will wield a Broadblade as her preferred weapon.
- Similar to Jinhsi, Changli will be a 5-star resonator but with a Fusion attribute and will wield a sword as her preferred weapon.
With every 5-star character, expect to get a companion quest, and both Jinhsi and Changli are no different. Moreover, the main story will pick up again with Chapter 1, Act Seven.
Personally, we will be pulling for Changli because of her stunning character design, animations, and beautiful 5-star weapon.
3) New events
Wuthering Waves will receive a plethora of new events in 1.1 but we are looking forward to 'Tales from Mt. Firmament' the most, followed by 'Tactical Simulacra' and 'Depthsof Illusive Realm' respectively.
4) An improved Echo system, a new adorable cubed creature joins the team
According to Wuthering Waves official website, here are all the changes made for echoes in the upcoming 1.1 update:
- New Tuner Synthesis Feature (Players will be able to synthesize a certain number of Medium/Advanced Tuners into higher-grade Tuners using the Synthesizer).
- Increased Union EXP Reward for Unlocking New Echo Entries.
- Higher COST Range for Echoes Rewarded for Activity Points (removed COST 1 Echoes from the Activity Points reward pool. Now only COST 3 – COST 4 Echoes will be rewarded as for Activity Points).
- Data Bank Level Cap Raised (The Data Bank level will be raised from 20 to 21).
Last but not least, Kuro Games introduced a new adorable cubed echo that will help Rovers on their journey in exploring the new 1.1 area. As seen above, the developers shared a GiF on how the echo can be used as an example.
