Ok, so the rumors about Syrian singer George Wassouf are getting seriously wacky. Can this all really be true? Did the sickly star actually marry that female race car driver after AND convert his religion to Islam?
Not to be mean or anything, but maybe his sickness has gone to his brain. The artist has been suffering some health issues and spent a lot of time in hospitals, which, apparently, is where he met Nada Zeydan who claims she has tied the knot with George. Recent news reports have announced that the two were married three months ago in Qatar under Islamic (Shari'ah) law after George converted.
According to Laha Magazine, George has not confirmed nor denies the rumor that has swarmed social networks these past days.
Odd, right?
Nada, who is the first Khaliji (Gulf) rally champion, certainly doesn't deny saying "I do". She event went so far as to post this announcement on Facebook, "George is my husband, we got hitched a while ago and we are living together and I accompany him everywhere he goes."
Coming from a Qatari father and a Turkish mother, Nada has become famous in racing and takes part in numerous rallies around the Arab world. She is in her mid-thirties and used to work at the same hospital where George was being treated.
Celebrities seriously never cease to surprise us.
