Ever since divorcing husband, Khaled Khatab, Hannan Turk has been plagued with rumors linking her to one man or another. The pious Egyptian star decided to retire from the acting world earlier this year, took up wearing the Islamic head covering and was apparently set to marry a member of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Hannan has fiercely denied any engagement to Ikhwan party member, Hassan Malek, and issued an official statement last month saying she was single and proud. But it looks like her ex-husband, Khaled Khatab, is not ready to let the rumors rest and was reportedly outraged by the idea of his ex-wife with a new man.
The former actress pleaded with her ex but he refused to believe her and now Khaled is threatening to take custody of their children. According to him, the kids shouldn't have to watch their mom in the arms of another man, especially as they're still very young. Despite Hannan telling him that all the rumors are rubbish, Khaled said he no longer trusted his ex-wife with looking after their children.
