Singer Hisham Abbas said that "Masr Btnadikom" [Egypt is calling you] was released in Arabic, English and French to promote the economic conference scheduled for Friday in Sharm el-Sheikh.
Abbas added in a phone-in with the Hona al-Asema talk show on the TV channel CBC that Mohamed Abu Shaqa suggested making a song for the economic conference.
"Masr Btnadikom" is written by Shady Nour and composed by Belal Serour, Abbas added.
"I wish I had sung it in Russian too," the singer added.
