Jannat is up against Amr Diab and a slew of others for the title "Best Album" in the World Music Awards.

Moroccan singer Jannat is in tight competition with her Egyptian colleague Amr Diab for the title of “Best Album” in the World Music Awards, according to the competition’s official website. She is receiving a high volume of votes, getting her neck and neck with Amr.

According to Sayidaty.net, winning an award is no big deal to Jannat who values appreciation from her fans as the best indicator of success, although she cannot deny that she’s very happy that her album is nominated for the World Music Award.

Jannat said, "I consider myself a winner of the award, for merely being nominated and achieving this many votes, and people continuing to listen to my album is more important to me than a million award for this is the true success."

Fans will have many opportunities to make Jannat a “winner” in her right by listening to her music video for the song "Al Badi Athlam", produced in Beirut with director Walid Naseef. She added that also intends on filming a music video in Egypt for the song "Hub Jamid" (Strong Love) once she settles on a storyline for the clip and a director is selected.
