A major Kuwaiti production company has offered to sponsor Egyptian singer Ruby for several million dollars, according to MBC’s internet website.
Rubyi’s manager Sharif Sabri’s busy schedule filming advertisements for various companies has led to his absence at several of Ruby’s concerts, forcing him to look for another strong production company to take his place, according to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al Qabs.
Sharif is looking for a new film to produce after the success of his first production, “7 Waraqat Kotchina” (7 Playing Cards). He has also produced a number of music video clips.
Sabri said that he is not abandoning Ruby and will always help her in any way he can.
Ruby has received various offers from production companies ‘Rotana,’ ‘Alam Al Fan,’ ‘Melody,’ and ‘OTV”, according to close friends of the star.
