Latifa’s Facebook fans were in for a surprise when the Tunisian singer announced that she will be releasing a new song from her latest album “Ahla Haga Fiyya” (The Best Thing in Me) every half an hour on her FB page, until the whole album has been completely released! Wow, that’s a bold move, Latifa!
But what’s triggered the kind gesture from Miss Latfs? Apparently, this was Latifa’s gift to her fans as a “thank you” token for their love and support throughout her career.
According to Laha Magazine, Latifa said that the album features 14 songs (that’s seven hours until the whole album’s up-and-running on the social networking site) in which she cooperated with a number of talented young poets, composers and music distributors, in the aim of introducing new-blood to her work and a touch of modernity to her music that will appeal to the different tastes of her fans.
Among the songs with new modern lyrics is the Tunisian-dialect song "Baha Baha," which means “enough.” Fans will be able to understand the lyrics once they listen to the entire song! Nothin’ better than to keep it fresh like Latifa!
Latifa has recently signed with record label "Mazzika" who produced this likely-to-succeed music album.
