One of the many television comedy series coming this holy month of Ramadan is “Ahlamak Awamer” (Your Dreams Are a Demand.)

The plot revolves around marital problems and their effect on the future of a couple’s children. The story is written by Fida’ Al Shindeli and produced by Sa’ed Al Rashidi, and stars Majida Zaki, Salah Abdullah, and Ahmad Azmi.

The production company has set a budget of 8 million Egyptian Pounds for the series, and 800, 000 thousand will be paid to Zaki alone.  She initially asked for one million, 400,000 thousand more than what she was paid for her last television series “Harit el Awanis” (The Maiden Neighborhood).

Zaki plays the role of the wife ‘Amal’ who is fed up with her husband’s behavior, played by Salah Abdullah. Amal claims his behavior is causing damage to their children and their future.

Zaki stated that her husband Kamal Abu Reyeh will not appear in this series after the problems that arose during the production of “Harit El Awanis.”

Kamal claims he is preoccupied with other projects.

Zaki said that working with her husband was a success, yet she wants to avoid working with him too often so that their fans will not get bored with the couple.

Last Ramadan Zaki played a major role in the successful series “El Haj Mitwali”.

Zaki revealed that she would like to take a role in a new film in the near future, and tries her best not to stay away from the theater, where she became a star.
