ALBAWABA - Mariah Carey is prepared to perform.

Following the recent release of a few videos in which she poked a little fun at her image as the "Queen of Christmas," the renowned singer used Halloween as the occasion to formally kick off the winter holiday season.

As a way to embrace the spooky nature of the situation, Carey dressed up with a dance partner as Morticia and Gomez Addams, two characters from the television show "The Addams Family."

Carey shared a hilarious video on her social media account at the beginning of October, showing her on what appeared to be a private jet as the opening notes of her famous song "All I Want for Christmas Is You" began to play. It wasn't long until she heard the voice of the "captain" welcoming her onboard and informing her that they were on their way to the North Pole.

"Not yet," Carey said in a voice that sounded like a sing-song. "I'm sorry!"

More recently, she uploaded a video in which she seemed to be about to perform her famous hit song "All I Want for Christmas Is You," but before she could finish, actress Kerry Washington rushed in and interrupted her.

"No, no, no, no, no," the star of "Scandal" warns Carey before continuing. " Mariah, this is not yet your ideal time of year. It is time for the election.

She released the song "All I Want for Christmas Is You" on her album "Merry Christmas" in 1994, and it is now considered a classic musical composition.

As a way to commemorate the thirty-year anniversary of the release of her popular song, Mariah Carey has announced that she would be working exclusively with Amazon Music on the creation of her fresh new holiday décor and tour merchandise collections titled "Christmas Time by Mariah Carey."
