The young music artist Shatha started preparing for her second film with the producer Samir Ameen. The new movie, called “Shaqawet
Moghtaribat” (Naughty Female Emigrant), is about the problems that many young women face that move from local areas to Cairo. The film shows how Egyptian culture views the young women.
According to the London daily Elaph, Shatha’s first film was “Qate’ Shahen,” also produced by Samir Ameen and written by Osama Ra’ouf. The film also starred the famous Egyptian actor Mahmoud Al Jundi, and Jihan Qamari.
“Qate’ Shahen” is about a mafia family that smuggles drugs and distributes them to local youth.
