For decades, Nawal al Zoghbi has been loved for her vocals in the Arab world, but could she also be a successful actress if she wanted to?
In a recent press statement, the Lebanese diva admitted that she is "afraid of becoming an actress," despite receiving many offers in the past.
"Whenever a movie or TV series script is sent my way, I get all excited, but when it gets closer to filming time I panic and pull out of the project," Nawal admitted.
While Nawal said that she admires fellow singer Sherine Abdel Wahab's transition from singer to actress, she doesn't have the same passion for acting.
The singer rightfully pointed out that music videos are her way of acting on a small, more simple scale.
Nawal added that her fave actors are Mona Zaki, Ghada Adel, Ahmed Helmy and Ahmed el Sakka.
