UAE singer and Arab Idol Judge Ahlam wants it known that Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama holds a very special place in her heart and she stresses that she considers him a very dear friend, but at the same time is shocked at his recent public statements about her. Ragheb allegedly commented that Ahlam thinks she is Jennifer Lopez, trying to look and act like the Latino hot-goods Lopez who is admired for her shapely derriere. This is not the first time the two Idol Judges have come to blows in media-led comment feuds.
Ahlam said that Ragheb would be hard-pressed to find any fault in her and so the only thing he could think of was to compare her to the sexy-Hollywood owner of the most infamous 'expensive booty', J.Lo.
Tit for Tat
Recently, Ahlam had posted an old recording of Ragheb Alama praising the Syrian President Bashar Al Assad on her official social media Twitter page.
This move was understood as her trying to show up Ragheb as a supporter of the Syrian government regime, depicting him somewhat 'negatively' as pitted against the revolutionaries or 'people' (some of which fans) who are demanding their basic rights and a resounding "move-over, regime".
