Rita Ora leads the Brit Awards' best-dressed with a sophisticated Zuhair Murad creation

With some of the biggest names in music swarming on to one of the most glamorous red carpets of the year, there's a fair amount of competition to fall into the best dressed category.

But tonight, there were a few clear winners for the Brit Awards in London.

Basically anything goes on the red carpet and it's the chance for our favourite rock chics to shine.

Leading the pack was Rita Ora, 24, rocking the carpet in a sexy shimmery gold playsuit with a flowing train and plunging neckline by international Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad.

Showing off her new cropped locks, Calvin Harris' ex posed with all the seduction we've come to expect, showing off a glowing tan in the unique outfit.

It looks like that Fifty Shades of Grey confidence has rubbed off.

The gorgeous Lisa Snowdon, 43, showed off a more than just a bit of leg and bust out of her Balmain mini.

Meanwhile Paloma Faith, 33 looks stunning in a red strapless Armani Prive dress with an embroider tulle overlay.

Blonde beauty Paloma flashed her huge back tattoo in a low-lying red and black Armani Prive spotted gown, showing off her signature unusual style with a netted skirt.

The star was all smiles as she flaunted major cleavage in the strapless number, sure to steal the limelight as she posed all the way along the red carpet.

Model Daisy Lowe, 26, was doing what she does best in a sexy strapless black Emilio Fe La Morena gown.

The star flaunted her cleavage in the low-cut number and wore her hair down with a huge silver necklace to catch everyone's attention.

And joining her was golden girl Fearne Cotton, 33, looking seriously cute in a vintage inspired metallic mini dress with embellished detail around the neckline.

Not surprisingly FKA Twigs, 27, was seen rocking the most fierce outfit of the night in Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.

Showing off major side boob, the star posed with her usual sultry stare, unphased by the impression she was no doubt making.

Of course, she has posed nearly naked hanging from ropes for a photoshoot in the past - so we guess anything goes.

And bring up the main category at the end was singe Ellie Goulding who wore bridal white for the event.

The blonde beauty couldn't fail to impress in the slinging number and looked positively angelic.
