It seems that French President Emmanuel Macron, who visited Lebanon in the wake of the crisis that befell the capital Beirut following the explosion of the port on August 4, will have a new imprint with the fans of veteran, Fairuz.
According to French press sources, President Emmanuel Macron intends to meet Fairuz in early September when he visits Lebanon again on Centenary of Greater Lebanon.
Lebanese tv presenter Ricardo Karam tweeted: "Some French press sources are circulating the intention of the French President #EmmanuelMacron to meet Mrs. Fairuz on the occasion of Lebanon's centenary during his upcoming visit to #Lebanon."
He added: "Will he succeed in his endeavor and get the icon of poets and the largest cultural symbol in Lebanon out of her isolation, refuting all the rumors circulating by malicious and sick horns?"
