Lebanese singer Rula Saed had Egyptian designer Bahij Hussein design a collection of clothing, including accessories, especially for her role in the film “Room 707.”
Hussein claims that once she received the new wardrobe, worth 20 thousand US dollars, she never paid her bill.
The company “Ferdi” that produced the film “Room 707” has responded to the accusations.
According to an article published by the London daily Elaph, Hussein offered to design the clothes for Rula on the condition that his work would be noted in the film credits, according to production company “Fredi.”
Rula only selected two pieces and later called “Ferdi” stating that she did not like the designer’s style. “Ferdi” said they never signed a contract with Hussein.
Rula went ahead and designed her own clothing for the film and asked the production company to write a special thank to the designer, Bahij Hussein, in the film credits and “Ferdi” went ahead with her request.
