Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred has been cleared of all charges.
The singer had been taken to court in France, accused of rape.
The case was deferred by the French Court of Appeal to a criminal court, which reportedly cited a lack of evidence as the reason a guilty verdict was not secured. Due to the machinations of the judiciary in France, this is in effect a declaration of not guilty.
Despite the outcry, Lamjarred released the song “Let Go” in the months since his summons to court; the song proved successful.
